Cji is now hiring a trailer mechanic Job description Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and general repairs on trailers to Company and DOT standards, as well as inventory controls and processing order paperwork. Responsibilities of Trailer Mechanic: Diagnose and repair dry-van trailers, including preventative maintenance, inspections, repair to air brakes, suspension, electrical, etc. with safety as the top priority. Structural Repairs Requiring Cutting/Welding Keeping Detailed Record of Each Job Performed (Time, Parts, etc.) Requirements: Experience working on commercial trailers, a valid driver's license, good communication and organizational skills Potential team members must be focused on delivering consistent, high quality work at all times. Physical Demands: Pay rate: Based on experience - After 90 days, we will do an evaluation and salary will be based on performance.
