Fatal Shooting At Elyton Village Under Investigation

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham police are investigating a deadly shooting in the Elyton Village housing community Saturday night. The shooting occurred just before 10:20 p.m. The victim was found on the scene unresponsive in the driver's seat of a car. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department. Mauldin said details surrounding the shooting are limited, and no arrests have been made in this case.
