Looking for something different? We are too. Hi. We're Matt and Rowland, and we play in the Raleigh-Based band Sportsmanship (https://sportsmanshipnc.bandcamp.com/album/know-thyself). Rowland and I are seeking to branch out a little and start our own project. Rowland plays drums, and is based in Fuquay-Varina. I play guitar and bass, and I'm based in NW Raleigh. We're looking for guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, vocalists, and generally multi-instrumentalists to start an experimental (art rock?) project. We're weird, and we want to reflect this in our music. We have no desire to run the show, though. We want every member to contribute to our sound equally and meaningfully. Our influences? There's a shit-ton. Melvins, Swans, Daniel Higgs, White Stripes, Psychic TV, MeWithoutYou, Sabbath, Zeppelin, James Brown, Xiu Xiu, Sleep, Om, Lungfish, Zomes... I could go on. So, yeah. That's our deal. We have space to practice, and we want to get to work. We love playing shows and want to get out there more. Don't be shy. If this sounds like you, send us an e-mail.
