The Auto Auction Worker will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Through the use of company provided tools, the Auto Auction Worker will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle. In addition, by using a system of priorities, the Auto Auction Worker will be responsible for directing the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. Auto Auction Worker will be responsible for vehicle clean up and general labor throughout the facility. The Auto Auction Worker will prep vehicles for inventory per company guidelines while maintaining company standards for accuracy and cleanliness of the vehicles. This position is 100% outside and we work rain or shine. In addition, the Auto Auction Worker will perform general labor tasks for the facility which can include general facility clean up, minor repairs and other duties. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart practices, the Auto Auction Worker will help facilitate the Copart experience by providing excellent service to customers of Copart. • Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area • Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles • Determine operational capability of motor vehicles • Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles • Maintain inventory of all materials used • Compliance to company policies and procedures • Compliance to safety requirements • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons rain or shine. • General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred • Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work in a team environment • Complete work orders daily • Assist members with jump starting cars • Escort customers • Drive vehicles in and out of facility • Clean, vacuum and wash vehicles according to criteria • Shrink wrap vehicle for storage • Secure personal documents according to criteria • Maintain a clean yard • Maintain spill response • Maintain neat, organized building/shop • Maintain a safe working environment according to criteria • Performs other duties as assigned • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons • Driver's license preferred • Bilingual skill a plus • Must be 18 years or older Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled Apply online @ copart.com in the career section at the bottom of the page.
