Portland-based tribute band to The Clash are searching for a new Joe Strummer to replace our current Joe, who is moving out of state. We are looking for a talented, responsible, and kind bandmate who will take on the role of Joe Strummer with the same great care and respect that the other band members do for their roles. The obvious skills on guitar and vocals need to be there, and you should own the proper equipment to do so. You don’t necessarily need to look like Joe, but you should be able to capture his vibe. You should also be vaccinated. We have practice spaces available and generally practice once every week or two depending on availability and need. Each band member is expected to practice on their own and be prepared for rehearsals. We take pride in honoring and celebrating the music of The Clash and in putting on a quality and entertaining show. Shows are currently booked and more will be coming (as they become safe to do so).
