Really need a female chocolate lab puppy! A few weeks ago we got my 9 year old son his first dog after he took on special responsibilities and proved he was ready to be a dog dad. He worked so hard and he took amazing care of her and was so attached. Unfortunately she ended up being born with a heart issue we didn’t know about when we purchased her and she passed away this morning at the vet after trying everything possible to save her. Due to several other traumatic events that have happened in my son’s life recently involving deaths of close family members I can’t bring myself to break his heart even more. I have decided we are not telling him that his baby has passed and instead I am looking to replace her ASAP and just let him think she is coming home from the vet. I know some people won’t agree with this decision but right now I thinks it’s best for my son as he is already dealing with more than any 9 year should ever have to face. Looking to purchase a female lab puppy under 4 months of age. Unfortunately can’t spend a fortune because we did not get a refund for his last puppy and also have a huge vet bill but definitely willing to pay a reasonable price. This puppy will be so loved and spoiled!! I am attaching pictures of the “daughter” he just lost. If the puppy is not yet ready we are willing to wait until it’s ready to leave Momma and we will just “extend” her vet stay. Also willing to travel for a puppy.
