Family assistant We are looking for a family assistant who can start ASAP. We are two busy professionals and live in west la area. We have 3 very well behaved/trained dogs. We are looking for someone to be at the house from around 8am to around 2pm (time flexible) for 2-3+ times a week. Prefer someone who has a car and can drive. Duties include cleaning and maintaining the house clean, family errands, grocery shopping, walking the dogs, cooking/meal prep, and laundry. We live in a 3 bedroom/2bathroom house but generally will only need you to maintain the main bedroom and bathrooms, as well as kitchen and general living areas. In general someone to help manage our household and family responsibilities. Also big plus if able to house/dog sit while we are out of town. We don’t have any kids. Hours: 3-5 days per week (part time or full time depending on your and our needs), 8am-2pm (hours can be flexible also but need someone reliable, 4-6 hours per day.) Responsibilities: *Household: feeding and cleaning up after the dogs, walking them and keeping an eye on them out of the crate (they have advanced training and very well behaved), laundry, general household cleaning (tidy up, maintaining the kitchen clean, loading/emptying dishwasher, sweeping/mopping, making the bed, etc.) and weekly heavier cleaning as needed *Cooking: grocery shopping, preparing weekly healthy meal prep for 2. *Running errands: grocery shopping, occasional trips to target/costco, other occasional family errands as needed. Qualifications: *Organized and detail oriented, able to help keep household and family running smoothly for 2 of us and dogs. We don’t have kids. Be proactive and solution oriented. *Clean driving record and valid California drivers license and insurance and own transportation *speaks and writes English fluently *Comfortable with dogs, able to take them on active walks *genuinely enjoys cooking healthy quality meals with some understanding of good nutrition. Formal culinary experience a plus but not required. *does not bring kids to work. Compensation: 30+ per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Extra will be paid for house/dog sitting as needed. Background check will be performed. Please provide 3 references.
