Description
A construction company specializing in painting and drywall is looking for Bi-lingual (English-Spanish is a must) team member with a positive attitude, good communicative and computer skills to fill in full-time Purchasing Assistant position.
Duties include:
• Enter and send purchase orders to vendors
•Verify new incoming orders
• Prioritize and manage tasks to ensure department deadlines are met
• Maintain and organize all open orders and schedules.
• Effectively communicate with superintendents and vendors to obtain accurate information
•Update material inventory lists
• Assist with various tasks assigned by management department
Skills/Qualifications:
• Ability to analyze information
• Must be highly organized
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Excel a must
• Must have great communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be highly motivated and goal orientated with confidence, energetic, positive attitude
• Able to take initiative and problem solve
