We are looking for culinary volunteers and event volunteers for The 2021 Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One which is scheduled for Oct. 14 - 17th, 2021. With over 80 events paying homage to one of the greatest dining cities in the world, through signature tastings, intimate dinners with world-renowned chefs, late-night parties, hands-on classes, educational seminars and more. All proceeds from the festival benefit Food Bank for NYC and God’s Love We Deliver to sustain the mission to nourish New York and provide for our neighbors facing food insecurity. Events are in various locations throughout the city. CULINARY VOLUNTEERING Culinary volunteers are highly skilled students and professionals who are interested in using their training and skills to host a world-famous event and gain critical experience working alongside industry professionals. Culinary volunteers gain experience in a range of events, from high-volume production to catering intimate gatherings. NYCWFF offers a great opportunity to make connections in the industry and showcase your talents for thousands of avid food and wine lovers, and it is a great addition to any resume. You are welcome to sign up individually or with a group. REQUIREMENTS The following are required for all culinary volunteers: 1. Professional culinary experience OR Current culinary student 2. Chef’s coat 3. Knife Set with: Paring knife, Serrated knife, Chef knife, Peeler 4.
