Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the ideal candidate should be able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems. Knowledge of electrical/electronic maintenance, PLC programming/troubleshooting, and process automation is a plus. The position will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading equipment in an industrial production environment. Flexibility is necessary to manage multiple projects as well as re‐evaluate and change priorities quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities: • You will be part of a maintenance team responsible for maintaining industrial equipment at a molded fiber production plant. • Review maintenance work orders as assigned; identity, recommend, implement and document optimal solutions. • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production or processing equipment. Specific skills include mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding; may repair/replace motors, rebuild/replace pumps, repair electro‐mechanical equipment, lubricate equipment; document equipment problems and solutions. • Perform welding tasks as needed in proper maintenance of equipment and the facility; materials welded may include steel, stainless steel, and other alloys using different welding equipment and techniques; all‐position welding may be required. • Perform data entry into our computerized Maintenance Management System and use Microsoft Office software. • Must be able to work daily overtime, after‐hours call‐in, and weekend work as required to minimize operational downtime, particularly during adverse conditions and other production emergencies. Requirements: • A high school diploma or GED; Prefer a trade school or apprenticeship graduate; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree; LME, MPJ, or Oregon Millwright is a plus. • A minimum of two (2) years of Industrial Manufacturing maintenance experience. • Strong analytical, technical, and mechanical skills. • Basic hand tools are required.
