Empire installs netting and fence for residential and commercial properties, ball fields, golf courses, football stadiums, etc. Job Summary Empire is looking for a sports netting installer to join our team. This position requires a construction minded individual who is able to travel to sports venues across the country and install netting. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and detail oriented. Duties & Responsibilities • Follow job plans and blueprints • Install large diameter poles • Hang cables and nets from poles • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion • Perform maintenance on equipment to keep in a satisfactory working condition • Additional tasks as assigned Requirements & Qualifications • High school or equivalent is preferred • US work authorization is required • Valid driver’s license is required, CDL is a plus • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance • Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted • Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting • Willing to work M-F with weekends and overtime as needed • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools • Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc. Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
