I call her a mystery because she looks like a chiweenie but her personality is nothing like a chihuahua or a dachshund, she's way too calm and poised. She is spayed, quiet, docile, not playful but loves gentle little people. It's not so intimidating when you're closer to her size! She can be fearful of larger animals and has been attacked brutally by a cat in the past (I can tell because she's definitely afraid of them) so to spare her the anxiety, it's best to keep her away from cats. My cat is very gentle and sweet and she's still freezes up and starts shaking when he comes around to sniff her. She loves everybody, but she really should have a male owner because I can tell that she feels more comfortable around men. Anytime she meets a new man, she wants to follow him out of my house, and sulks when he leaves. But she acts like she is still warming up to me, and sometimes cowers when I pet her as if she thinks I'm going to hit her. She's so sweet. I'm not charging a fee, but she will only go to the best possible home. I'm in no hurry to rehome her, I want to make sure her new home is permanent because her owner passed away and she is still mournful of his death. She's potty trained, will hold it forever if she has to. Has a sensitive stomach so I recommend keeping her on a strict diet with no added human foods.
