Part time or project maintenance person

Description

We need a handyman for a 24 unit apt. complex with 6 fourplex units in Shakopee. Retired persons encouraged to apply. This can be a regular part time job of about 20 hours a week or an intermittent contract called in when needed for bigger repairs. The person should be able to repair windows, doors, floors, lay tiles, change bathroom fixtures, replace electrical switches, fix leaky sinks and other maintenance needs. During apartment moveouts, apartments sometimes need major counter, floors, and fixture replacement. At other times it is routine maintenance. There is usually more work in the warmer months and less in the winter but emergencies, leaks, and repairs come up at different times. Hourly pay 20-30 per hour depending upon skills. If a person has only limited skills or just in some areas and not in others, we have back up people to call in as well.
