The Korum Automotive Group is seeking a Full Time Service Porters for both our Ford-Lincoln and our Hyundai locations in Puyallup. The Service Porter is responsible for enhancing the customer experience by ensuring that each customer vehicle is properly prepped upon arrival, moved as directed, washed and vacuumed after the vehicle repair order is completed, and assists in keeping the flow of traffic moving safely through the service areas. This position also supports the maintenance/cleanliness of the Courtesy Vehicle fleet, and performs shuttle driving services. Duties Include: Prepares customer vehicles with protective materials before service begins and removes protective materials, washes exterior, and vacuums interior of the vehicle before delivering vehicle back to the customer after service is completed. Ensures all Courtesy Vehicles are kept clean and fueled in between uses by customers. Communicates any noted physical damage to management, and needed maintenance or repairs. Contributes to the flow of vehicles in and out of the service drive by parking and retrieving vehicles for customers and the Service Department employees. Ensures that the Service Drive is kept clean and presentable for customers throughout the day, and that customer vehicles and courtesy vehicles are moved out of the Service Drive quickly and appropriately parked in designated areas. Assists in the set up of the Car Care Workshops and other corporate events in which the Service Department participates. Responsible for safely driving Service Department customers to and from their requested locations while their vehicles are serviced. May also provide vehicle pick-up and delivery services at the direction of management. Maintains customer shuttle log after each transport including customer signature for verification. Maintains cleanliness of shuttle vehicle. Keeps an adequate fuel level for all phases of driving. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision. Previous experience preferred, but not required. High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Ability to learn and use software provided by dealership. Must have a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record. Company provided uniform
