Yes its true a private organization of veteran soldiers went into Afghanistan by land. They were able to rescue four American citizens trapped in Kabul and safely take them to a neighboring country. From there they went to a US embassy and arranged flights back to the United States. Then the State Department tried to take credit for the rescue.
