Are you a student looking for an internship? If so, we're looking for YOU??!! CoreTen Fitness is an upscale fitness center located within the Nemours Building in Wilmington, DE. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion for fitness to assist with a variety of projects over the next few months. While this is an unpaid internship, if accepted, you will have full access to our amazing facility for the duration of the internship. Upon completion of your hours, you may submit an application for a paid position (you will receive first priority-based on your performance) and you will receive a letter of reference to add to your career portfolio! ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ CoreTen Fitness is looking for 2-4 interns, primarily to help design our winter classes, as well as assist with outdoor events (such as, kids fit camps, an outdoor obstacle course at Constitution Yards on the Riverfront, community park workouts.) Interns would also need to assist with filing, maintaining clients files, answering phones, scheduling classes, cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment, (co)coaching group classes and program design. Our ideal candidates must be naturally friendly, professional, punctual, eager to learn, able to multi-task, unafraid to interact with gym guests and must have a PASSION for fitness. This internship would be unpaid, however *we will follow your school's curriculum to ensure your student receives an incredibly thorough learning experience *the student would receive a free membership for the duration of the internship, with guest privileges. *the student would shadow our trainers during classes, consultations, personal training sessions (with permission from the client) and fitness assessments. *the student would be allowed/encouraged to participate in Yoga, Barre, Spin and Dynamic Fitness classes, which would help to enhance overall fitness knowledge. *the student would be taught how to answer questions regarding fitness and Covid-19. The student would also learn how to effectively clean and sanitize all surfaces to lessen the risk of transmission of this or any illness. *the student would be given general First Aid/CPR instruction. (No certification) *the student may be eligible for immediate hire, following the internship. If no position is available, a letter of reference may be provided.
