A. G. Stokes Construction Co. is HIRING. Hi, I am the owner and President, Alex Stokes. A. G. Stokes Construction Co. is a small remodeling company based out of Eastpointe, MI. I started this company to provide professional remodeling services to the Metro-Detroit area. Currently, I need some HELP. Outlined below is the current structure of the Production Division: 1. General Laborer, $15/h - $18/h: -Ever wanted to get into the trades? This position is PERFECT for the right, motivated candidates. Job responsibilities include staging jobsites, cleaning jobsites, keeping the work trucks clean and efficient, keeping all tools clean and efficient, measuring, cutting and handling materials in a safe and responsible fashion, and guided installation of various construction materials. -After your 90 day review, you will be eligible for a $1/h pay raise, and will then be given a performance review every 6 months for a possible $1/h raise. 2. Apprentice, $19/h - $22/h: -This position is for individuals who have been determined to posses a basic understanding of remodeling and construction, and will be trained towards a Carpenter position. Duties include all forms of installation and construction, with an emphasis on autonomy, jobsite management, Team Leader training, tool-handling, and general remodeling knowledge (tile, framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, painting, trim work, etc.). -Apprentice level individuals will receive a performance review every 6 months for a possible $1/h pay increase. 3. Carpenter, $23/h - $26/h: -This position is for individuals who have surpassed the Apprentice level of skill, and can be left completely autonomous. These individuals possess an EXCELLENT understanding in remodeling and construction. Each Carpenter will be eligible to lead a team of at least one other individual (an Apprentice, and Laborers), and will be eligible for a Team Leader Management Fee bonus on every job, for each man-hour that they supervise. -Carpenters will be responsible for the entirety of each project, from start to finish, and will report to their Project Manager, or Team Leader. Carpenters will be responsible for company tools and vehicles. -Carpenter level individuals will receive a performance review every 6 months for a possible $1/h pay increase, or an increase in their Team Leader Management Fee bonus. 4. Master Carpenter, $27/h+ -This position is an extension of the Carpenter position, with a greater degree of emphasis on professionalism, skillset, and job management. The Master Carpenter position is reserved for those individuals who set an OUTSTANDING example to each and every member of the team, in skill, socially, and professionally. In addition to the Team Leader Management Fee bonus, Master Carpenters will be eligible for increased Paid-Time-Off, Project Bonuses, and other incentives to acknowledge their skillset and contribution to A. G Stokes Construction Co. -Master Carpenter level individuals will receive a performance review every 6 months for a possible $1/h pay increase, or an increase in their Team Leader Management Fee bonus, as well as to determine any other possible performance bonuses and incentives.
