You are invited to join us for an afternoon exploring a community garden in the Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood! Take yourself to an interactive & educational garden tour! Check out what is growing, get inspiration for your garden, and taste some food/drink made from the garden. There will be people to chat with, canopies and chairs to relax in, and tons of pollinators and animals to observe. We invite the public to share the physical and social benefits found in this community garden. Those with limited access to garden space can learn about the flowering favorites, while experienced gardeners can get excited about new ideas! **Following COVID-19 guidelines, food & drink samples will be distributed in a sample-style. Maximum capacity for the garden is 40 people/hour. When you RSVP it would be great if you specify when you plan to arrive, thank you! Bring your family and friends, lets enjoy some time in the garden. You may park in the church parking lot, below the community garden. Use the road to walk up. This event is organized by PDX Urban Gardens owner Kyle Leslie-Christy, in partnership with Slow Food Portland Youth Network, Slow Food Portland, & Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. No products will be sold at the event.
