AFU 669- The American Friends of Unit 669 The American Friends of Unit 669 (AFU 669) is a non-profit organization (501 c 3) established to support the alumni and welfare of the soldiers of the IDF elite Unit 669. The Unit’s mission is to rescue casualties - both soldiers and civilians - anywhere and under any conditions, be it enemy territory under hostile fire or civilians caught in emergency situations. The Association’s goal is to support the unit’s soldiers and alumni - many of whom will be the future leaders of Israeli society. We encourage the alumni of Unit 669 to maximize their individual potential - to benefit themselves, the Unit, and all of Israel. We are doing our best to keep up the good work of “Tikkun Olam”.
