I'm a God fearing woman in pursuit of purpose and self discovery. More about me...Haitian-American, self-employed professional, with a passion for serving others, currently, through providing Occupational Therapy services to the geriatric population. What Are my beliefs?Raised on the concepts of blessing others with whatever resources you have and being a cheerful giver. I believe we are blessed to be a blessing. WHY I'M DOING THIS?1. This is an expression of generosity. 2. I have a desire to learn and grow, especially in the area of entrepreneurship. 3. I support professionals,  coaches, and entrepreneurs, while gleaning from their experiences and expertise. Therefore, I created an opportunity that allows me to be of service,  coupled with my eagerness for knowledge. Introducing The Local Benefactor... Yam Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing services to the under served population in the Haitian community, persons with disability, and the elderly.Their Mission: to provide support services to targeted population to improve quality of life for all participants served.Their focus is on assisting those who need services with a comprehensive approach, assuring successful completion of any applications and submission to appropriate, qualifying agencies, while supporting and addressing any issues of concern. The Lambi Fund of Haiti is a diverse group of individuals from many walks of life who work together toward economic justice, democracy and alternative sustainable development in Haiti. The Lambi Fund's mission is to assist the popular, democratic movement in Haiti. Its goal is to help strengthen civil society as a necessary foundation of democracy and development. The fund channels financial and other resources to community-based organizations that promote the social and economic empowerment of the Haitian people.Organizational PrinciplesThe Lambi Fund supports projects that embrace the following principles: non-violent, non-partisan, community-based, promoting the advancement of women, using education and training for empowerment, and promoting the overall democratic movement.
