In this unique domestic violence awareness event, meet local author Stacey Cook in a cozy coffee house setting. Coffee and snacks provided. Join local author Stacey Cook in our YWCA "Coffee House" as she recounts her experiences as a victim of domestic violence in her new book Bruised and Battered: Stories of Triumph. Stacey will read an excerpt from her book and answer questions about her experience including how she became a SURVIVOR. Books will be available for purchase at the event or may be purchased to read beforehand at Barnes and Noble (https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/bruised-amp-battered-sl-cook/1139777416) Coffee from Convoy Road Coffee Roasters will be available as well as coffee house type snacks.
