You are invited to Saint John’s In The Village for a selection of short films by Michael Jacobsohn. The program will begin with a 16 mm film that I made as a teenager, which will be followed by more recent short documentaries. My short documentaries feature the lives of gifted artists who have found their way to New York City. They live with little comfort and recognition. My documentaries feature these unsung heroes with their valiant works. I strive to give my protagonists a stage to perform and a visual gallery to display their unique talents. My subjects reciprocate with their wonderful stories of struggle and hope.
