Join us for a leisurely stroll through one of the Southside’s hidden treasures, as we identify & collect local plants, herbs, and flowers! Hosted By Brown People Foundation and Grow Greater Englewood Join us Sat, Sep 25th as we stroll/learn/honor/share amongst the plants & trees! Come learn how to spot common edible and medicinal plants, and learn about their uses. In addition to the Forage & Plant Walk, there will also be wildflower bouquet-making and a seed exchange! (Please bring seeds to share if you have them to spare!) 😷☝🏾Yes #WeOutside but please be mindful. #MaskUp & keep that #6Feet babes. Wear comfy shoes and bring water! Sleeves, bug spray, and sunscreen are also wise choices. It’s a family affair. Don’t be ashy.
