The City of Virginia Beach has wisely created another public natural space for walking, fishing and reconnecting with nature at Lake Smith.
Lend a hand keeping it beautiful by helping us with trash pickup along the trails and in the parking area.
Forrest Collins has officially adopted the park and reached out for a few more volunteers. We do love hiking here and I am glad to help keep it beautiful.
A few reacher/grabbers and plenty of orange trash bags will be on hand plus we can leave the bags for the city to pickup!
The trails add up to about 2 miles. We will do a loop or 2 on these mostly flat trails. This plot has many old trees. Plus manicured and mapped out trails. The cypress trees astride the new bridge are awesome.
