EVENT SCHEDULE 12:00 P.M. - Kite Flying (Beach) 12:00 - 12:45 P.M. - Dance performance (Pier) 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. - Band performance (Pier) 3:00 - 3:30 P.M. - Hot Dog on a Stick Eating Contest (Pier) 5:00 P.M. - Kite Festival ends Prizes will be awarded throughout the festival for: Best Handmade Kite, Biggest/Longest Kite, Highest Flying Kite, Youngest at Heart Kite Flyer and Youngest Kite Flyer. This is a socially distanced outdoor event. Face masks are recommended. Visitors must adhere to the L.A. County Public Health Officer Orders. Schedule is subject to change and is weather permitting. Alcohol, animals bicycle/skateboard riding and smoking are not permitted on the Redondo Beach Pier.
