Come join us for a group discussion/personal exploration of what masks you've been taught to wear that get in your way at work/relationships
Outdoors. Limited to 20 men. RSVP. Dinner served (meat and veggie options on the grill): suggested donation $5 to cover the cost of food.
If you want to do some preparation prior to the conversation circle, you can look up the Lewis Howes book, Masks of Masculinity.
No preparation is necessary, however. Just bring yourself, $5, a chair, and curiosity.
Format for the evening
5pm - Arrive, *meet/mingle, eat (*covid safe)
5:30 - Assemble and welcome from facilitators
5:45 - Intro to the 9 masks of masculinity (information)
6:00 - Conversation circle Round 1 (participation by choice not obligation): Which of the masks is most present in your life? In what way? How does it feel like it helps? How might it be getting in the way?
6:30 - Tips for men and partners for overcoming the masks (information)
6:45 Conversation circle Round 2: What are you afraid of if you drop the mask?
7:15 - Conversation circle Round 3: Court of support - who or how can you ask for support and commit to one way to remove the mask and be more of your authentic self?
8:00 - End and closing
