Description
We have a 3 year old(ish), neutered male rabbit named Fred that needs a new forever home. No exact age since we picked him up at a shelter. He is an incredibly adventurous, athletic and fun rabbit, a bit messy, and ridiculously excited for treats, velvety soft to the touch... and best suited to a one-rabbit family.
Why give up such a darling? We have never succeeded in fully bonding our two rabbits. At best, they have peacefully co-existed. We just haven't been willing to part with Fred because he's such a delight, so we've made it work. He always makes us laugh. However, we really cannot care for the bunnies separately, and they've been very territorial since we moved. We've gotten them back to a tentative peace, but that's all it is. We don't want fighting bunnies! It's not safe for either of them.
After several months debate, we've decided the bunnies will both be happier if they are separated. Since Fred was our second rabbit, he's the one we are letting go of, provided we can find the right home for him.
Fred is a great pet! He's an indoor bunny. He's used to living in an x-pen at night and being free-range during the day. We've always kept the rabbits in a living room without electronics, but I'd guess you'd want to bunny proof any cords around this guy. Put a chew log near any place he might want to chew.
We will provide a litter box, water dish, and some toys to go with him.
There is a fee of $25.00. This will be donated to a rabbit rescue organization.
Would prefer he go to a family that is familiar with house rabbits and definitely to someone that can provide him with space and time to exercise and play.
