THINKING OF GETTING A DENTAL CLEANING? Hello, I am a 2nd-year dental hygiene student at Foothill College. Under the supervision of licensed dentists and registered dental hygienists, I provide low-cost oral health care education and dental hygiene services to the general public at Foothill College Dental Hygiene Clinic. Services Offered Dental cleaning Scaling and root planning (deep cleaning) Dental x-rays Sealants Oral examination Fluoride treatment The first appointment is ONE hour and includes a thorough medical/dental history & oral screening exam. At the end of the screening appointment, the patient will be advised of the treatment necessary, the approximate number of appointments required, and the fee to complete treatment. Subsequent teeth cleaning appointments will take THREE hours. Although the Foothill Dental Hygiene Clinic does not provide restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, etc), oral surgery, periodontal surgery, or orthodontics, we provide referrals to private dentists, local dental colleges, and community clinics for follow-up care.
