Waterbury, CT- Waterbury Public Schools, in collaboration with Granville
Academy, is delighted to announce a series of symposiums to inspire students to consider and pursue careers in healthcare. Top tier professionals from the healthcare industry, including two Wilby High School graduates, will share their pathway and experiences with 8th and 9th graders on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Wilby High School (568 Bucks Hill Road).
"We are very excited to once again partner with Granville Academy to provide our students with exposure to the numerous healthcare professions," said Wilby Assistant Principal Jeannine Minort-Kale.
"We want to spark an interest early on and provide students with the opportunity to engage with professionals in the healthcare field that came from the very same city as they do and have graduated from the same Waterbury Public School they are attending," said Director of College and Career Readiness Nyree Toucet.
"It is all about exposing them to possible careers and inspiring them to work hard to achieve their goals."
