Original Band seeking Bassist

Original band with eclectic influences seeking new bass player. We are a drummer, guitarist/vocalist, together with a cellist who plays on several of our songs. Together we're having a great deal of fun developing a sound we're excited about. What we need now is a bassist whose energy and love for music comes through in the playing. From there we'd like to bring in keys and possibly a percussionist as well. Ideally though, we'll be able to get people moving their bodies as a tight trio - guitar/vocalist, drummer, and you on bass. We've got an enthusiastic engineer lined up to record a demo with us. Sooner rather than later we'd like to get out and play some gigs. Our ages range from 25 to 46. We care about your energy, craftsmanship, attitude, and reliability much more than your age. Structurally, within our multitude of original songs, some are quite simple while others have a bit of complexity. Experience with, and a love for, Latin, reggae, and other world musics is a big plus. Some background in jazz is also helpful. We are simple at times but never simplistic.
