Blue Tarping Crews Needed in Louisiana Compensation: paid by the square foot We are looking for crews with roofing experience who want to make great money with consistent work tarping roofs in Louisiana for the areas affected by Hurricane Ida. The Blue Roof Mission is a Federal program that pays for tarping the roofs of homes hit by a hurricane. There are an estimated 50,000 + structures that need tarps applied to roofing. This may require up to 8 weeks, maybe longer of work tarping roofs, 7 days a week, 12+ hours a day. Good crews can tarp 15,000 sf a day. Great crews can tarp 20,000 sf a day. If you aren't afraid of hard, but good paying work, this is the job for you. Requirements: - Have all tools required for the job. Ladders, trucks, nailers, compressors, pry bars, etc. - Must be able to transport your crews and materials. - Must have general liability, auto liability and worker's compensation insurance. - Must have your own PPE, INCLUDING SAFETY HARNESSES.
