Old Timer Looking for Loving New Home

He was found prior to the pandemic, looked for his owner for months and finally gave up. He’s one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever experienced. In the year he’s been here, he’s never barked and is 100% house broken. He Interacts extremely well with aggressive dogs both big and little as well as cats - (see picture) The vet thinks he’s 12-13 years old. Unfortunately we’re not in a position to be able to take care of him - can barely afford food for him or regular veterinary maintenance- he’s a great dog who deserves better - it’s a tough call but if someone out there could give him a happy home for the remainder of his life - he deserves it. We will be screening any serious prospects thoroughly to ensure he finds the right new home - we don’t expect any personal information but would like fo hear as much as any prospect could let us know about the environment he would be potentially going to - family? Kids? Yard? Other animals etc?
