I recently purchased a fixer upper home, it's the first time I have ever worked hard on having a home of my own, something that one day I can pass down to my children for their children and making their own family memories. I was never able to give my children much so this home is the world to my children and I. The heat needs fixed by winter, we found a used central heating unit but are in search of the other things we need to hook it up, we are also looking for paint (gray and white), carpet for the living room, bedroom and hallway, linoleum for the kitchen and bathroom, drywall mud for patching holes in the walls and door's. Pipes for the kitchen sink, all the pipes where stolen out of the house. There are so many things that need done, I am trying so hard to make her the home I know she can be but it's getting hard, I'm afraid if I can't go any further I'll have to let the house go and that would destroy me, I have worked so hard, using scraps others toss out. I just need some help, I don't want to give up the dream of having my own, built with my own blood, sweat and tears, something my children can be proud of, a place they can all home and one day raise a family. I'm not asking for bright, shiny, new parts, or things, scraps work fine. If you or anyone you may know has scraps that can be used on the house Please let me know, anything is very much appreciated. If you would like you could even come by and check the house out, I'm willing to prove it's not a scam, my door is always open for those that would like to see the house and the work that needs done. I live on a very tight fixed income, $795.00 a month, no room what so ever for any mistakes. I'm getting no help for any government program, they will only help if you live in government housing and have no dreams of owning anything, I want this for myself and my children, I want them to be proud of their mother, I have never been able to give them much, but this chance I've been given to provide a family home is a once in a lifetime chance, a family home to call their own, to fill with memories long after I'm gone.
