KITTENS GALORE!! Kittens pictured (listed in order): Blynken, Cali, Pancake, Lexi, Pebbles, Jem, Marvin, Rascal, Scott, Rosie, Abby, Rosette, Wynken, Archie, Parcheesi, Nod, Bruiser, Uno, Jupiter, Checkers, Venus, Spritz, Toby, Zach If you are interested in adopting any of these kittens, the first step is to fill out an application on our website (cchswi.org). Once that is submitted a staff member will be in touch with you. Feel free to call the shelter to check on your application at any time. The Columbia County Humane Society has lots of kittens up for adoption right now--all looking for loving homes. We are bound to have what you are looking for. You can check our website (cchswi.org) to see who is available, but keep checking because more are added all the time. Pictured here are some of the kittens we have available. There are lots of "free" kittens on Craigslist, but by the time you take that kitten in to be spayed/neutered, and get its shots, you will be spending well over our adoption fee. All of our kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have received their distemper shots. If it is an older kitten, it will also have received its rabies shot. The adoption fee is $100 but we have some that are sponsored with lower fees! You can look them up on our website to read more about them and to see what their adoption fee is. Most of them have more pictures on our website too. If you don't see what you are looking for, we have lots of other cats, including quite a few whose adoption fees have been sponsored, so their fee will be reduced or waived with an approved application. You can check them out on our website (cchswi.org). The Columbia County Humane Society is located in Portage, just north of Madison. We have lots of cats and are bound to have just what you are looking for! All cats have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have received their distemper shots. Most adult cats and older kittens have also received their rabies shots. We have lots of cats and kittens whose adoption fees have been sponsored, so the fee will be reduced or waived with an approved application. Our standard adoption rates are $100 for kittens (under 5 months of age), $40 for cats between the ages of five months and one year, $20 for cats between the ages of one and six years, and no fee for cats six years and over. With adoptions, you can also get 30 days free pet insurance. You can't pass this up! Applications can be downloaded from our website (cchswi.org). If you submit an application, we suggest you contact the shelter the next day to see if you have been approved. Thank you!
