Due to NO FAULT of her own, we need to find a forever home for our 17 week old puppy, Harpy. We have had Harpy since we rescued her from being dumped at 4 weeks old. She never has had an accident in the house or crate, she never terrorizes our cats, she's great with kids and other dogs, and she enjoys leash walks and snuggling. She is a quiet girl who is absolutely perfect in the crate and is as silent as they come all night long sleeping. She is working on sit, down, wait, and come. Harpy is up to date on all vet care, but still needs to be spayed. Harpy is the best little pup ever. The ONLY reason we are looking for her a new home is due to our other dog having heart surgery and needing around the clock care. Even after she heals from surgery, our other dog will need constant attention and care due to having Congestive Heart Failure and MVR (leaky valve). This does not leave a lot of time for Harpy and it's unfair to her. She needs a family to love her, spend time with her, and snuggle her to her little pupper hearts desire! Harpy's momma was a mutt dog (boxer mix), but her daddy was a pure bred tri color Australian Shepherd. Harpy has been DNA health tested via Embark and we are happy to provide those results to her forever family. She is also up to date on all vaccines. Harpy's forever home would be a home owner with or without kids. She would prefer another dog in the home to play with but if she has enough attention, she'd be fine as a single pet. She's great with cats as well so feline family is fine. She loves squeaky toys, chew bones, and taking walks. She will run out of any open door she sees and once she's loose, she's nearly impossible to catch. So keep that in mind.
