Here Come The Mummies The Wall Street Theater ALL AGES Here Come The Mummies Here Come The Mummies with special guest Yam Yam at Wall Street Theater Cursed after deflowering a great Pharaoh’s daughter (or daughters), Here Come The Mummies (HCTM) have been delivering their brand of Terrifying Funk from Beyond the Grave since the year 2000 AD. While HCTM's lyrics leave little to the imagination, their wraps have been the topic of much speculation. Some say they are reincarnated Grammy winning studio musicians. Theories abound! Regardless, HCTM’s mysterious personas, cunning song-craft, and unrelenting live show will bend your brain, and melt your face. Maybe that’s why the ladies (and some dudes) can’t stop losing their minds over these mayhem-inducing mavens of mirth. HCTM is: Mummy Cass - guitar, vocals, luthifer Eddie Mummy- drums, vocals, beats/ beets K.W. TuT- bass, spores, vocals Spaz- keys, arthritis, synth, vocals The Pole!- bass, period. Midnight Mummy- bari & tenor sax, keys, percussion, talk box, your mom, vocals The Flu- alto sax, clarinet, flute, notes of allspice and star anise Mummy Rah- tenor sax, moves H.P.O.D. (High Priest of D.E.A.T.H.)- trumpet, deafening squeals Yam Yam: Yam Yam emerged in 2015 playing a vibrant, cross-pollinated blend of jazz, jam, funk, and soul. The group earned wider recognition in 2018 with the release of their eponymous debut album. Yam Yam features keyboardist Mike Dempsey, guitarist Tom Fuller and drummer Tyler Fuller, bassist Xander Moppin, and saxophonist Jason Mescia. The members all met while playing in various bands in the Harrisburg music scene and bonded over a shared love of classic funk, jam, and soul music. Some of the bands favorite artists are Vulfpeck, Snarky Puppy, Hermeto Pascoal, Phish, and Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals to name a few. The band released its debut, self-titled album in late 2018 and upon its release, it charted on Billboard Jazz Albums section at No. 17. The band has opened for Lotus, Dopapod, and Keller Williams among others and has been featured in NepaScene, LiveForLiveMusic, and TheBurg. In 2020, the band recorded their second studio album and also released a live album titled The Yam Yam Telethon (The Lingerie Room Sessions). In 2021, they made their Peach Fest debut and released their second studio album Double Dippin'. Here Come The Mummies OFFERING LIVE SHOWS, interactive entertainment, cinema, digital productions, art space, and a community arena in which to nurture arts in Connecticut
