TUIB's Audition Concert is the perfect opportunity to hear the band perform and sign up for an audition slot! TUIB's Audition Concert is the perfect opportunity to hear the band perform and sign up for an audition slot, or just come just come with friends to hear us sing an hour-long set of folk music! Due to Yale COVID policy on performing arts and its audience size limits this fall, TUIB will have two back-to-back Audition Concerts, each with a 40-person audience limit. This is the first concert, which begins at 7pm on Tuesday, September 14th in the Davenport college courtyard. Due to this year's circumstances, and in order to accommodate as many people as possible, we ask that you only reserve a ticket for one of the performances.  TUIB (pronounced twihb)is Yale's premier American folk singing group. Our repertoire ranges from the bluegrass tunes of the Appalachians to traditional Irish ballads, the folk-rock hits of Bob Dylan to the jams of Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young and Simon & Garfunkel. We sing four-part folk harmonies and accompany ourselves on guitar, banjo, fiddle, viola, mandolin, and harmonica.
