Description
Support Your Community and Become an ALL !n Advocate! The ALL !N Campaign serves as a reminder to African Americans about how we have demonstrated our most impactful achievements when we fight collectively against a common adversary. The coronavirus is an immediate threat to our livelihood and our lives, so the vaccine is the weapon we should be ALL !N about using, to fight this adversary. As people of color still disproportionately lead in the number of fatalities from the coronavirus, the Urban League affiliates want the communities they serve to consider the vaccine as a means to ending the racially inequitable devastation. We need your help to reach communities that are in need. Sign up to be a community advocate today and you'll earn a $200 Visa Gift Card! THE AUSTIN AREA URBAN LEAGUE IS ALL !N TO SUPPORT THE INCREASE IN AWARENESS ABOUT THE COVID-19 VACCINE, AS A COLLECTIVE MEASURE TO STOP AND REVERSE THE NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF THE VIRUS ON COMMUNITIES OF COLOR ALL !N The Austin Area Urban League, with the support of the National Urban League, in participation with the 90 Urban League affiliate offices around the country has joined forces with the National Action Network, the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, and the United States Centers for Disease Control to promote the ALL !N campaign to inform communities of color about the coronavirus vaccine and encourage community members to make thoughtful consideration about taking the vaccine. The spread of the coronavirus has changed the daily workings of our lives for the short term, but the detrimental impacts of the virus on communities of color are long-term, specifically on matters of health and wellness, and access to quality healthcare with regard to the virus. The negative impact of the coronavirus has created a lingering lack of trust in communities of color about the safety of the vaccine, the availability of it for people of color, and confusion about the necessity of taking the vaccine. Help us reach the community and conquer COVID-19!
