Come meet with other parents and children and learn about how autism and anxiety are related. Childcare Provided Dr. Candelari and Dr. Guzick will present on how to recognize anxiety in autistic youths, core elements of psychotherapy for anxiety, how to adapt these treatments to autistic people, and effective coping strategies They will provide information about ongoing treatment research projects at Baylor College of Medicine for autistic youths with anxiety disorders.
