Make a Haunted Fairy house, Learn how to make witches brew, get your tarot read, and shop for your Halloween gear. Join Midwest Mud October 1st at Healing Arts Revolution from 7-9pm in a smattering of Halloween festivities. We are encouraging participants to dress in their witchy best to really get in the spirit of Halloween. *Dressing up is not required for this event. -Before we get creative, you can have your tarot read by Jenny Buhr, and shop for your Halloween gear with Nifty Nik Nak! ** Nifty Nik Nak is offering some shirts and sweaters for presale as well. You can purchase these as an add on when you get your tickets. We will have your shirts ready for you at the event. - Mixologist Andrea Anderson will be there to demonstrate how to make your own witches' brew. Don't worry you will get to sample the goods:) * This is a +21 event. Then, Amber Parsons from Midwest Mud will lead you through a step by step workshop on how to make your own haunted ceramic fairy house. This class is for all skill levels so don't worry if you have never worked with clay before. Once you fairy house is constructed, Amber will take your work back to her studio where she will fire and glaze it for you. This process takes about two weeks. Once they are finished you will get an email regarding picking up your work. Founded in 2009, Midwest Mud is a collection of work made by artist Amber Parsons Myszka. As she has traveled on her creative journey, Amber has found herself enamored with spreading the joys and tribulations of creating with ceramics. Aside from creating her own body of work Amber engineers a variety of classes that not only speak to those well versed in the work of clay, but to those that wish to engage themselves creatively.  Beyond the classes that have been scheduled,  studio rentals and educational programs are available upon request with prior reservation.
