Description

I have some geckos and emerald tree skinks for rehoming. Emerald tree skinks (Lamprolepis smaragdina): - Single males $60 each - Breeding groups (1 male + 3 females) $200 These are very active, diurnal skinks that require places to climb, high humidity, and UV. They eat crickets, mealworms, roaches, and Repashy (or similar) mix. Only one male per tank, otherwise they fight each other. Madagascan Clawless gecko (Paroedura stumpffi): - male $50 Not common in the pet trade. He comes out at dusk, mainly nocturnal. Full size adult around 4 inches long. Super easy to keep - I throw in some crickets once a week. Ocellated day gecko (Phesluma quadriocellata): - male $50 Active and visible during the daytime, this male is not shy. Tried breeding him years ago but he killed both females, so he should be kept alone. Great starter day gecko, feeds on crickets, mealworms, and Repashy. Needs high humidity and UV. Mauritian Lowland Forest Day Gecko (Phelsuma guimbeaui) - $100 unsexed Active during the day, but very shy. Perhaps with a larger tank, he would be out more often. One of the most beautiful species of gecko, care is the same as the ocellated above. Sundberg Day Gecko (Phelsuma sundbergi) - $100 unsexed Same care and behavior as the Mauritian lowland gecko above. Again, I suspect with a larger tank he would be more visible. This species is slightly larger, around 6 inches. I have all these lizards in bioactive planted tanks on a misting system for humidity, and UV lights. With the exception of the Madagascan clawless gecko, these are medium skill-level reptiles, and probably not the best for beginners. They need a more specialized habitat than your standard beardie or leopard gecko. I've had success with all of them, especially the emerald tree skinks, which are basically overpopulated at this point. They breed quite readily under the right conditions. Feel free to reach out with any questions. gecko, reptile, lizard, pet, snake, frog
