Dear Soul Music Co Presents the Unplugged+Live: Lunchtime Edition! Sponsored by the ASC Culture Blocks, a community partnrship funded by Mecklenburg County. These family-friendly days feature live performances featuring local and touring talent in a block party, lawn concert. Upcoming Dates Include: July 17 | 12-2pm September 11 | 12-2pm November 13 | 12-2pm A little bit about the series: Founded in 2013 by singer-songwriter Arsena Schroeder, The Unplugged+ Live Series is a touring concert series in support of independent singer-songwriters. The series was initially a house concert with the idea of a listening-room experience in mind. In 2015, Unplugged+Live received grant funding from the NC Arts and Science Council. Since then the series has drawn local, regional, and national acts expanding from private living rooms into local venues across the region. Each show features two (or three) hand-selected acts for an intimate show allowing listeners to engage with their original work. To date, over 150 regional acts have featured in this series now expanding to Atlanta, GA and Austin, TX. We believe independent artists gain loyal fans through these experiences so we create them!
