Help restore native plants and animals to Medea Creek
The non-profit community-led group will be restoring native plant species to the oak woodland and streamside vegetation along Medea Creek. The event will also focus on removing non-native species, so native plants can grow in their place, providing food and shelter for wildlife. Many animals do not recognize non-native plants.
Friends of Oak Park Open Space is dedicated to connecting people with the Oak Park, Ventura County natural resource lands. We encourage positive impacts to these special places by caring for the native plants and animals so we all have a place to thrive.
