"At 8 years of age, while most little boys were thinking about becoming firemen and superheroes, Devin Metzger’s dad was teaching him to play guitar. He then began to use his gift of natural rhythm to teach himself how to drum. By fourteen, he was writing his own complex material and performing as the lead singer in a band. The world has never been the same since. From Paging Doctor Frank to Latter Day Bard, Devin hasn’t been afraid to push his vocal range and create new versions of himself as an artist. His current project finds him camping in and around the world of dark, storytelling rock. Never one to shy away from expressing himself lyrically, his songs work together to tell the story of someone who is diligently observant and always open to experiencing whatever life has to offer; both the light and the dark. The energy and passion he brings to his work are inspirational. Now, at 32, Devin is an enigmatic jack-of-all-trades. He is a father, a dear friend, a professional musician, an accomplished actor and painter, and capable of making some of the best whisky you’ll ever get your lips around.
