On Saturday Oct 16, local icon Charles J Adams III will present a live ghost story and haunting tales to a small gathering in the Reading Area Fire Museum's Victorian Parlor.
Known in Reading and around the world as a collector of the paranormal, Charles J. Adams III has an endless supply of ghostly tales, many of local origin. Adams has been a speaker at the International Ghost Hunters Alliance and GhostWorld conventions in Gettysburg, Pa., and at regional paranormal conferences in New Jersey, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. He’s been interviewed on ghostly topics in England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, South Africa, and has appeared on several American radio and television stations throughout the years.
Adams has organized and escorted tours of haunted places in the United States, England, and Scotland. He has produced, written, and conducted “ghost tours” in Lancaster County, Reading, Hamburg, and Philadelphia, P.A..; Cape May, N.J., and Greenwich Village, New York City. Many of his stories have been selected for inclusion in anthologies.
