I am still wondering what Trump accomplished that impressed his base

I am not being facetious. Many of Trumps base still support the guy. I cannot figure out exactly why they still support him. I get why people voted for him in 2016. He talked a great game. He was there non politician businessman coming non to "drain the swamp. Trump made a lot of exciting promises to his constituents. Trump soon de like the answer to many Americans issues with modern politics. But here is the thing. Trump made good on almost none of his promises. Trump accomplished very little in 4 years. What he did accomplish does not seem to benefit 99% of Americans. He catered to big business and the wealthiest Americans rather than the average working class. So what is it about Trump that still excites his base. Do they love him because he is anti liberal? Do they love him because he is loud and dramatic and entertaining? Do they love him because he is a climate change denier? Do they like that he is at least border line racist? What is it about Trump that impresses his supporters? I Truly just don't get it. I am not trying to convince anyone to support Joe Biden. I am just wondering how Trump has 39% of this nation convinced that he is a good leader. He may be a great entertainer. After so many days on the course, he must be a great golfer. He may be a great business tycoon, but he has shown no evidence that he can lead the free world. At least not in my book. Leaders need to earn my respect. Trump failed to do so. And just to be clear, I did not vote for Hillary.
