ISLAND PARK, NY — A car accident Saturday killed a man on Long Beach Road, police said. The 59-year-old victim, an employee of Nicolla Ready Mix in Island Park, was struck in the parking lot, detectives said. The man was taken to an area hospital and was pronounced dead just after 7:30 a.m. Police are investigating the incident.
