Press release from the Puyallup School District: 09/10/2021 Governor Inslee is deeply saddened by the death of Former Colfax Fire Chief and Volunteer Firefighter Jim Krouse, 76, and directs that Washington State and United States flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff in his memory on Friday, September 10, 2021. Chief Krouse died in the line of duty on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business or sunset on Friday, September 10, 2021.
