School Bus Routes Canceled, Delayed Friday For AACPS

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Numerous buses are either out of service or running late Friday afternoon for Anne Arundel County Public Schools students. According to many parents, it's been a problem all week long during the district's first week of school. AACPS spokesperson Bob Mosier noted that the district isn't immune to the nationwide bus driver shortage that's plaguing schools across the country. But district leaders are working with contractors to try and improve notification time when a bus will not be available.
