The update shows 554 people are now hospitalized due to COVID-19, a decrease of 24 people from Wednesday. There are now 153 people in the ICU, a decrease of five people from Wednesday. The Friday update does not include data such as total individuals that have tested positive. (KGAN TV) A Des Moines woman was charged with OWI and child endangerment in a crash that injured a motorcyclist Thursday night. Her 6-year-old daughter was in the SUV that collided with a motorcycle. Arrest records show she failed a standardized field sobriety test and later failed a breath sample test.
